Legal Intern Placement Program

In 1995,  the GWAC Foundation created its signature Legal Internship Placement Program (L.I.P.P) to assist in fostering and sustaining a viable presence of women in the legal profession throughout the Greater Washington D.C. area.  The L.I.P.P. program is designed to sponsor summer internships for minority law students with financial need and offer law students the opportunity to gain invaluable legal experience that they would otherwise be unable to obtain. L.I.P.P. award recipients are awarded a stipend that is distributed during the summer of the internship program, at the start and finish of the internship.
